Dimitri Omers Bulldog leather footstool, England 1960s

Original vintage leather footstool. Designed and made by Dimitri Omersa for Abercromby and Fitch.
Hand crafted from scrap leather and filled with wood shavings.
The Bulldog is one of the rarer pieces made by Omersa.
This doggo is still in fit condition considering its age. The leather is in good condition with an amazing patina. The tail is missing sadly but the gap has been restitched.

Using it as a footstool is possible but not to be recommended to preserve this beautiful piece and all its character.
