Set of 2 Revontulet candle holders by Tauno Wirkkala, Finland 1960s

Set of 2 "Revontulet" glass bowls or candle holders.
Designed in the 1960s by Tauno Wirkkala and produced by Humppila Finland.
The series is called "Revontulet" (Finnish for Northern light). Made from pressed glass that resembles shards of glacier ice.
Use them as bowls, a vase or just as beautiful objects but the best way to use them is as candle holders. The irregularity of the glass disperses the light of a candle in a unique way.
