Folk art animal figure, Netherlands 1920s

Hand carved and crafted cow figure. Made from solid wood. It has an articulated neck that can move sideways.
It has the original black paint. The colored details have faded through time but are still visible. It gained a great patina and character.
The tail has been added later and can be easily removed.
