Mid century space age round rug.
The rug is made from braided natural fibre that spirals from the center. The braided strand is polychrome giving the rug an almost psychedelic feel.
The rug was handcrafted in the 1960s and sourced from the original first owner.
The strands are hand sewn to each other. Some of the thread came loose and have been re-stitched.
It measures 205cm in diameter.
