Specifications

Set of 2 mid century church candleholders, Netherlands 1950s

Set of 2 floor standing candle holders. Made from wood and brass. They came from a monastery in Oirschot Netherlands

The bases are made from wrought brass. The candle holders are made from wood with a brass flared top. The candle holders were intended to be taken out of the bases so the person holding it could walk around with them. Like most items that came from churches and monasteries, they are very well made by skilled craftsmen. Apart from some denting on the upper edges they are in very good and well maintained condition.
