Specifications

Modernist cubist metal and leather lounge chair, Netherlands 1980s

Modernist lounge chair designed in the style of Gerrit Rietveld. The frame is made from metal with a green thick leather seat and back.
It shows great resemblance to the Cube chair model fm62.
Unlike the FM62 cube chair by Radboud van Beekum for Pastoe, the frame is one piece and welded.

The frame is made from metal and it has the original paint. The loose, chipped paint has been removed revealing the bare metal and white base coat. Especially on the edges it gives it a worn, robust look.

The leather is new. Straps have been placed underneath the seat to prevent it from sagging over time.
