Mid century mobile vanity desk, Germany 1960s
Mid century vanity desk with matching stool. It is made from metal with the original baby blue paint. It has two storage compartments that are accessible by rotating the lids. The upper lid has a mirror. The lower lid still has the original mirror but this one was cracked. It has been glued back together and reinforced with matt black vinyl film.
The upper mirror can be adjusted in angle, rotation and height. The stool has a black vinyl seat and fits perfectly on the base of the table.
It stands one its original metal casters making it mobile and due to its compact design it can fit almost anywhere.
The handles and knobs are all made from bakelite. The part where the arm rotates has a repair as can be seen on the photos.
The total height when the mirror is upright is 130 cm and 115 cm when in horizontal position. The diameter of the mirror holder is 30 cm and of the top table as well as on the bottom is 38 cm. The diameter of the foot is 50 cm. The height of the top table is 10 cm and the storage on the bottom is 21 cm high. The stool is 45 cm H x 39 cm W x 40 cm D
