Post modern design floor lamp by Catellani & Smith, Italy 1990s

Very impressive post modern design floor lamp. Designed and manufactured by Catellani & Smith Italy in the early 90s. The model is called: "O Sole Mio". It has two rods mounted on a square metal base. One rod holds the lamp and the other the gold leaf finished diffuser. Omnidirectional design that reflects of the gold plate giving it a warm and relaxing light. Dimmable by a foot-switch.

The total height is 205cm when the diffuser is horizontal. when in upright position it measures 265cm in height. The diffuser measures 50cm in diameter.
