Large solid oak brutalist coffee table, France 1950s

Large railway sleeper coffee table. The top is made from thick oak beams. It stands on a solid oak base.
The top has loads of patina and natural imperfections. The wood has a deep and rich color. The saw marks give it a robust and wavy surface.
Handcrafted in France in the 1950s.
The size and height also make it very suitable as a bench.
