Mid century bookcase with doors, shelves and drawers. Designed by Swedish architect Bertil Fridhagen for Bodafors in the 1960s.
The bookcase is part of the "Facet" series.
The lower part can be used separately from the upper part as a low sideboard.
Lots of storage space in both the upper as lower part.
The upper part measures 120cm in height, 25cm in depth and 130cm in width.
It has 6 adjustable shelves with a facet edged fronts.
The lower part measures 68cm in height, 42cm in depth and 130cm in width.
In has 2 doors with the original key, three drawers with amazing half round teak handles and 2 shelves.
It has the makers stamp inside the drawer and on the inside of the door.
Overall the bookcase is in good and ready to use condition. Some signs of use consistent with the age. It has two holes in the back wall of the upper part as can be seen on the photos.
Mostly made from solid wood (except the hardboard back panels) with teak veneer.
