Space age Rodica chair by Mario Bruno for Comfort, Italy 1960s

Iconic space age design chair. The modeli s called Rodica and is designed by Mario Bruno for Comfort. The same company that made the Elda chair by Joe Colombo.

Thie Rodica has an egg shaped shell that sits freely in a fiberglass base. This way the chair can be maneuvered in any possible direction.

This Rodica has been reupholstered with reel sheep wool.

This particular one came from the original owner who bought it over 50 years ago at Metz & co in Amsterdam.
