Post modern design "cube" cabinet, Italy 1980s

A white post modern design cabinet attributed to Alessandro Mendini for Alessi. It has 2 large drawers with cone shaped handles. The surface is covered in an etched square pattern all around. The edges are made from aluminum.
The top is covered with a suede like fabric.

Because of the returning pattern it is best suited for a central placing in a room.

Ideal cabinet for a shop or dressing room.

The piece is in good condition with some marking on the wooden panels.
