Mid century lounge chair by Arne Wahl Iversen for Komfort, Sweden 1960s

Mid century lounge chair. It has a teak frame with sculptural designed armrests that flow through to the back and front legs. The seat has a wooden frame with rubber and fabric straps.
Designed by Arne Wahl Iversen and produced by Komfort in the 1960s.

The chair has been restored.
The former owner painted the frame green and the seat was upholstered in the original black vinyl. The paint has been removed and sanded down. The fresh coat of oil brought back the deep and rich colour of the wood and reveals, ones again, the beautiful graining.
Reupholstered in new old stock 1970s wool fabric.
