Contour 1 lounge chair by Alf Svensson for Ljungs industrier, Sweden 1950s

Very rare reclining lounge chair. Designed in the 1950s by Alf Svensson and manufactured by Ljund industrier Sweden.
It has a nickel plated frame with a seat that is adjustable in 2 positions by lifting up the front of the seat and pulling it forward or pushing it backwards.
Upholstered in real wool Teddy fabric.
Amazing minimalist design that will suit every interior.

The chair was obtained from the son of the first owner. The original owner bought the chair in the 1950s in the Artifort store in Maastricht.
